Stonewool is a clean, sterile and PH neutral grow media and material that the pests do not like. You can use it for almost all plants, seeds and cutting on hydroponics, aquaponics and aeroponics system.

 

The seeds can be directly grown on stone wool + Net pots and Supragarden systems, but The best germination can be achieved in a mini greenhouse that is slightly heated. Some plants, such as chili seeds, require a warm (about 26 degree) environment for sprouting, while salads sprout better in cooler weather.

Soak piece of slab to light nutrient solution before planting seeds or cuttings there. Make sure the rock wool remains moist until it is put to the Supragarden® system with automated watering.
