The Full Spectrum led plant light has all the spectrums plants need and warm light is good for flowering plants and fruit-producing plants. Grow lamp has a warm Full Spectrum shade (about 3600 Kelvin) and the lenses direct the light to the plants. Lamps light spectrum is great for growing and it has been obtained by combining two red (660 nm and 730 nm) and two type white leds. See the photos for a more detailed light analysis. The Full Spectrum grow lamp and its warm light is well suited for growing flowering green plants and edible plants such as tomatoes and chilies. Full spectrum light has a warm red tone, but it also has cool, blue light coming from cool white leds. So this lamp is also suitable for growing seedlings, salads and herbs.

Full Spectrum plant light produces a lot of 3600K type warm and cool light but little heat. Lamp can be close, even touch the plants without burning them. Thanks to the lenses in the lamp, the light is aimed directly at the plants and the amount of stray light is minimal.

This combined pH & EC Meter gives accurate readings of nutrient solution and is very helpful in mixing right nutrient concentrate for plants with hydroponics and with soil growing.

With this meter you can measure:

• EC meter gives EC / TDC value = the amount of nutrient content in water

• pH meter gives pH value of the water

• water temperature

Features of the combined Ec and ph meter:

• Take the water temperature into account when calculating the measurement result

• Temporarily waterproof, but only immerse the measuring head in the water tank

• The meter is calibrated before sending to the customer

• The pH and EC value of the meter can be adjusted and it is advisable to calibrate the meter every few months using the appropriate calibration agents.

How to use EC and pH meter

All meter readings are automatically temperature compensated. It is easy-to-use as you can just dip the sensor into the test solution - stir and wait. This unit will deliver a stable reading in about 10 - 20 seconds.

The EC value of plant nutrient water for e.g. herbs should be 1.2, which in the meter is 120 (= EC 1.2), but the nutrient value can vary between 080-250 for different plants. To adjust the EC value in water; add clean water to lower EC value or to increase EC value add nutrient solution to the water tank. To lower the too high EC value of full water tank, the water must be replaced at least partly with new neutral water.

The pH of plant nutrient water should be about 5.8 (between 5.4 and 6.2). To correct the water pH value  add some pH + or - adjusters that can be found from the store.

CALIBRATION OF THE pH & EC METER
 

EC and pH measurements should be calibrated every few months. There is included screw driver for this with the meter.

Calibrate the meter using pH buffer agents and EC calibrators found in the store.

Calibration of the meter to pH 7

• Open the screw cap on the meter, which shows the batteries

• Use the EC / pH button to select the pH to be measured, the display will show a low PH

• Remove the probe cap, immerse the probe in the pH 7 solution

• Wait for the meter to stabilize, then adjust the meter to 7.00 by turning the small PH screw next to the batteries.

• Rinse the meter head with water and replace the protective cap

 
Calibration of the meter to pH 4

• By also calibrating the meter to pH 4, you ensure that the meter is calibrated over the entire measuring range

• Remove the probe cap, immerse the probe in the pH 4 solution

• Wait for the meter to stabilize, then adjust the meter to 4.00 by turning the small PH screw next to the batteries.

• Rinse the meter head with water and replace the protective cap

EC calibration of the meter

• Open the screw cap on the meter, which shows the batteries

• Select EC to measure with the EC / pH button, the display will read X10 US with a small

• Remove the probe cap, immerse the probe in the EC / CF calibration solution

• Wait for the meter reading to stabilize, then adjust the meter to 280 by turning the small TDC / EC screw next to the batteries.

• Rinse the meter head with water and replace the protective cap

Never use pump without it being under water.  Sound from pump taking air is the last warning to add water to water tank for plants.
If pump makes sound you should dismantle it and clean the pump Filter and Rotor. If water has much dirt and they are not cleaned time to time pump can run slowly, make noise or even stop working.

The seeds can be directly grown on stone wool + Net pots and Supragarden systems, but The best germination can be achieved in a mini greenhouse that is slightly heated. Some plants, such as chili seeds, require a warm (about 26 degree) environment for sprouting, while salads sprout better in cooler weather.

Soak plug with the damp nutrient solution before planting seeds or cuttings there. Make sure the rock wool remains damp until it is put to the Supragarden® system with automated watering.
